This small inline converter module is used whenever access to the Lucas 5AS Alarm is required on a vehicle with the round yellow/opaque connector fitted (e.g. many early Rover cars). It plugs inline between the Yellow EGR Lead and the VCI 1.

Please note that later Rover cars used the Black OBDII Lead for communication to this alarm.
