This lead allows the Vehicle Communication Interface VCI 1 to be connected directly to a Motorola Micro processor which is used in a substantial number of vehicle ECUs. It is designed to be used with some of our advanced software modules such as the SM035 BECM CPU to give advanced levels of access directly to the memory on the main micro processing unit inside the vehicle ECUs which will allow capabilities not normally possible through a diagnostic connection, such as the resetting of fired airbag ECUs and deletion of stored history details and VIN numbers which can only be written once via the normal diagnostic bus connection.
